How to Reach Dambulla Cave Temple

By Road

Peradeniya is located 6 km west of Kandy on the A1 Colombo–Kandy road. Tuk-tuks, taxis, and buses operate frequently from Kandy city.

By Train

Take a train to Peradeniya Junction Railway Station, which is only 2 km from the garden. A short taxi or tuk-tuk ride will take you to the entrance.

Best Time to Visit
